Staying close to Sandy and nearby areas helps keep delivery and installation fees lower. Because I transport everything myself  choosing a local venue or flexible setup time can still help reduce costs.

I offer simple photography‑style backdrop stands — the clean rectangular frames that pair beautifully with balloons and are easy for me to transport. I also have the materials for large hoops and arches, which create big, sculptural moments without the cost of renting specialty pieces.

For outdoor installations, wood Chiara boards are the safest option because they’re heavier and far less likely to blow over in the wind. Each board must be properly weighted in the back to ensure everyone’s safety. I don’t provide Chiara boards due to the added delivery space they require, but clients are welcome to rent or purchase their own, and I’m happy to design balloons around them.

Pro Tip:

Outdoor décor always lasts longer and looks better when placed in a shaded or protected area. I also recommend checking the weather forecast so we can confirm whether your setup should be indoors or outside — you know what they say in Utah, if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes. When possible, I can set up your balloons indoors the day before your event. If the weather cooperates, you can move them outside just before guests arrive so everything looks its best at the start of your celebration.

  Choosing a clean, simple palette helps keep your décor beautiful and budget‑friendly. When you select from my in‑stock colors, you avoid special‑order fees and rush shipping. If you’re booking with less than two weeks’ notice, choosing from my designer’s stock is the best way to keep your total lower and ensure everything is available in time.

Monochromatic balloon displays are just as striking — and they’re very on‑trend. They photograph beautifully, feel modern and intentional, and stay comfortably within budget.

•  Focus on one photo moment

You don’t have to decorate the entire space to make your event feel styled. Choosing one key moment — the photo area, dessert table, entryway, or stage — creates a strong visual impact without needing multiple installs. A single, intentional focal point draws the eye, photographs beautifully, and keeps your budget right where you want it.

• Book early
  

Booking ahead gives you access to more color options, better scheduling, and the ability to avoid rush fees. I require at least two weeks’ notice to avoid rush‑job fees, since specialty colors and supplies often need time to arrive. Early planning also ensures we can use my in‑stock designer colors without last‑minute shipping costs. The sooner your date is reserved, the more flexibility we have to create something beautiful within your budget.

• Reuse Your Balloons When Possible

Balloons used for indoor events often last long enough to be enjoyed more than once. Some clients reuse their décor for a second celebration, and others list their balloons on Facebook Marketplace afterward in hopes of selling them to someone who can use them for their own event. Just make sure you keep your balloons away from outdoor air and away from pets — both can cause balloons to pop, shrink, or oxidize quickly. I use large balloon bags to protect everything during transport, and I can leave the bags with you upon request if you plan to reuse or resell your décor.

• Versatile Pole Display (Reusable & Space‑Saving)

This design is one of the most cost‑effective options I offer. It features a slim pole with fringe, a big cluster of same‑size balloons on top, an iridescent star, and a few small fillers for texture. It’s lightweight, easy to move, and fits beautifully behind a chair or in a tight corner. Because it’s built on a reusable pole, it can be used for multiple events — this exact setup was styled for a Mother’s Day luncheon and then again for a baby shower in a different location. It’s a great way to get a themed focal point without the cost of a full backdrop or large install.
